Juicy Couture Couture Islands Bag with Towel
January 31st, 2007
If I was about 17 years old and headed off to spring break with my senior year buddies, I’d probably be all over this bag. The Juicy Couture Islands bag is clearly beach-worthy - it’s transluscent and comes complete with an absolutely adorable map-print towel. Depicting such hot spots as the “Sea of Roses” and “Glamor Campus” (incidentally, that’s right off the coast of “Juicy Island”), the towel is a fun fantasy and a cute extra. The only drawback? It’s $165 - and even I couldn’t justify that for a plastic bag and a towel. Available at neimanmarcus.com.

Nylon isn’t exactly the most exciting material in the world, but leave it to Burberry to make it look sinfully appealing. The plush, beige quilted Burberry Nylon Shoulder Bag features slick, polished leather trim and gold hardware. This roomy bag is both stylish and practical - it’s perfect for everyone from nine-to-fivers to stay-at-home moms to students. It has a versatile sensibility that makes it ideal for toting just about everything, from books to baby’s essentials. Toss in a water bottle and makeup bag while you’re at it - this bag is large enough to store it all.
