The JPK Paris Capri Perforated Tote comes in four different colors, but I am particularly struck by the stark difference between the same bag in black and white. Like that angel and devil that sit on your shoulders, advising you as you consider whether you need that third Marc Jacobs shopper, they are polar opposites. The white is sweet and cute – ready for your pastels and bright summer dresses. I generally appreciate something exotic as much as the next woman willing to pay thousands for a bag made of snake, but I have my limits. The Bixby collection is one of the most memorable from Kate Spade in a long while. It was inspired by the Bixby Creek Bridge in Big Sur, known for its stunning beauty. Now, do I look at the Bixby Clutch and automatically think of Big Sur? Not quite, but I do look at it and admire its ability to look so distinctive despite being so basic. The bauble closure adds a hint of witty charm to the bag, and is actually the star of the show as far as I’m concerned. The pretty color is great, but alone that wouldn’t be enough to sell me. Throw in cute baubles, though, and I’m a step closer to whipping out the ol’ plastic. Find it for $325 at Kate Spade.

Attention, all Burberry fans! Feast your eyes on this glorious Burberry Check Chain Medium Weatherby Hobo! I’m not much of a fan of the brand myself, but this little looker sure has me interested. It features a sturdy single handle, a zip top closure, inside pockets, coated canvas/leather, and a full lining. I’m crazy about the chain and lock detail that adorns the front.
