i like their line well enough, but can’t help but be reminded of those chinese finger-trapping thingies every time i see that ubiqiutous woven pattern.
no, here there is no danger of label-mongering a la LV, for instance, but these glorious potholders (remember those woven goodies and their little plastic frames?!) just don’t do it for me. the snob appeal of the $$$ fails to add the appropriate allure. would love to see something more daring, more contemp w the same crafty quality as these guys. how about a purposefully added FLAW in the weave?the color is nice here.
