I’m going to be honest: this is the first thing I have EVER seen by Burberry that I like. Yes, it’s true, in general, their bags do nothing for me. I don’t dig the plaid (it could be six years in a uniform skirt that’s forever turned me off to plaid), I’m not a fan of burgundy, and in general I find the designs to be just meh. But here I am, singing a new tune, because would you look at this Burberry Packable Check Tote? I adore the change in colors (plus, I’m partial to violet), and the standard plaid is so blown out it looks very avant garde. I’m still not wild about the shape of the bag, but this is one Burberry purse I’d happily carry around town. Available at Saks for $295.
