Paris Fashion Week opened October 1.  Chanel‘s
Spring/Summer 2007 ready-to-wear collection featured,
most notably, super short skirts paired with the
always recognizable Chanel jacket.  Karl Lagerfeld,
when asked about how realistic the skirt length was in
terms of wearability, suggested wearing the
length-less skirts over pants!  Interesting.  The
general color scheme on the Chanel runway was black
and white, which added to the overall minimalist
effect.
