When I first saw this Fendi Floral Embroidery Zucca Baguette, I was mighty impressed. “How pretty!” was my first thought. Then I took a closer look and discovered that the pretty bits were actually little multicolored stones, artfully placed over the brand’s classic baguette. They do make a big difference in the bag’s personality, there’s no denying that; they add sparkle, a playful pizazz and a bit of spunk to an otherwise simple (albeit respectably chic) style. But bugs? I see enough of those as soon as the weather heats up. I’d rather not carry them on my arm, too. Available for $1700 at Neiman Marcus.
