You don’t mess with classics, but in the case of this Fendi Velvet Spy Bag, it’s a surprisingly successful – if fairly unconventional – update. The rich wine velvet instantly gives it a festive feeling, especially coupled with the satin lining and thick, shimmery handles. A smattering of rhinestones and beads glint elegantly on the sides. Normally bags like this don’t really appeal to me, but I’m totally swayed by this one. It’s not exactly a candidate for year-round wear, but it has loads of potential during the holiday season.
