I’m having flashbacks to 2008, when Fendi came up with a host of monstrosities that they tried to pass off as handbags. Then they redeemed themselves with some cool, unexpected looks that looked genuinely fabulous. And now it appears they have gone back to that dreadful period two years ago. The new Zucca Seleria Canvas Horse Tote may not be a monstrosity, exactly, but it ain’t all that cute either. It’s not even…handsome. It’s just a monogrammed tote adorned with a leather horse silhouette. Though equestrian-chic is a look I fully embrace, I prefer to take a subtle approach through clothing – not accessories with actual horse heads plastered on them. Available for $595 at Net-a-Porter.
