Venetia is one of my favorite
Marc Jacobs designs ever, and this new version sits right up there at the top with the glorious leather and patchwork styles. Constructed of quilted fabric and ostrich, the
purse takes on a whole new and very exotic personality. Fortunately, it’s not doused in ostrich skin - instead, the material is used as an accent to the soft, quilted gray fabric. Hefty zipper pulls, heavy gold hardware and a chain shoulder strap all add function and glamour to this oversized
handbag. As irresistible as it is, it’s always going to be supremely heavy, even if it’s not primarily made of leather.
