My husband and I met online, but that's where the internet romance stopped. Actually, we just met up because we'd been talking for a couple of years already. We started dating shortly thereafter.
I really don't know that it's possible to fall in love with someone online. Sure, you can love certain parts of their personality and whatnot, but I just don't see it as "love" without dating and getting to know each other in person.
