I once lent a friend my black Chanel purse, and she didn't want to give it back! She kept avoiding me, and I had to ask her several days in a row and it got difficult...so never again. As far as family goes though, I would let my mom borrow my purses. Back when I lived at home, we would borrow each other's purses...miss those days!
(I live on the opposite coast from her now) She had some great evening purses and classic Ralph Laurens that I loved.
