Well. the thing is, too many young woman use it as a means of birth control. If you speak to someone that had and abortion before age 25, 9 out of 10 regret to the point of near depression.
The fact is, the law should be universal. I don't support back alley or discount dirty clinic abortions. We should have a society more conducive to prevention and education to reduce the need for abortions, and deal with it later case by case.
I hate to say it, but Roe v. Wade should be overturned. She was used and coerced, and any court of law would overturn anything that is coerced because it is unconstitutional. She changed her mind and has to live with a sense of responsibility that her trial openned the flood gates for women nation wide to have an abortion willy nilly, that wasn't her intent.
I was appalled the other day when I was in Long's Drug Store and a girl walked up tp a clerk in the medicines dept, not pharmacy, and asked for the morning after/plan B pill. The clerk said the pharmacy is closed and she would have to go to another. It is over the counter to over 18's now, how awful is that!? I lobbied, went to Sacramento, I doorknocked heavily for this law not to be passed, but it passed by an overwhelming margin. How sad.
Our young women aren't getting the love, education, and support they need, that is where we are all failures.
