Traditionally, it is the duty of the maid of honor to see to the planning and execution of the shower. This gets dicey where the sis is the MOH... That being said, depending on the situation, the next bridesnmaid in line should resource an aunt of the bride to put said shower together. Typically, the sister/immediate family should not be expected to host the bridal shower.
