p.s. I read somewhere that when Marcos was overthrown and government officials interrogated his wife Imelda about all of her expensive 1,000 shoes in her closet/room, she came up with the excuse: "Oh, they're not all mine...the maids keep their shoes in here, too." Ha! We all know the maids wear chinellas (rubber flip flops) and NOT designer shoes!
