What do you like about the Queen?
No, I am not talking about the Queen, starring Helen Mirren.
I am talking about British fashion designer Alexander McQueen.
Personally I have always found his designs to be extravagant and quite gothic, and not quite my cup of tea. But, lately I have been admiring some of his latest designs for Fall 2007 Ready to wear collection.
What do you think is this form or fashion or both?
Just what is it that makes great fashion?
Is it striving to be unique and daring. Is it color and shape? We all have our own sense of style and that is what I love best about fashion. We change and fashion changes with us. I think originality and freshness is as much a part of style and fashion as it ever was. This is why I have grown to love the designs by Alexander McQueen for they stand out and are daring. It is the outfits we create by mixing and matching various pieces that truly make each style individual and personal.
