I was married to a violent man too. He was controlling, kept me broke and sometimes locked me in the house and took away my keys. I left in the end with our daughter and never went back.
I cannot understand why women would put up with this for a drawn out time. I can see giving the man a chance, a reasonable chance to fix himself up. But once his actions are being repeated more often, I can't see why they don't realise he will never change
Men like that make my blood boil.
