Balenciaga 2005 Turquoise Day
Up for sale is my Balenciaga 2005 Turquoise Day. This is a wonderful bag in one of the most sought after Bal colors, that unfortunately does not work for my wardrobe.
The bag has been restored (I do not know who did the restoration work as I bought it this way). When I bought it, I was told that the handle, buckles/corners and some spots on the body of the bag (that match in color, but feel a little smoother and you can see them if you catch the light the right way) were restored, but I have had someone tell me they felt the bag was totally restored. So I can't say definitely if it was partial or total restoration (though I have been reassured by my seller that it was partial), but I can say the bag does not feel tacky or gross - it actually feels thick and smooshy, the biggest issue is that it's just not as soft as my other bals. There are no spots or peeling. It actually looks phenomenal!
The tassels are a slightly lighter color than the body of the bag and I noticed they are starting to split in a couple spots, but are currently still intact. The tassel on the mirror is split. The inner tag is wrinkled as the original owner tried to wash it (which may also account for the textural difference) Comes with the card with the year on it, but not the other cards, dustbag (if the dustbag is a big issue for someone, I could take one from one of my other bags) or extra tassels. I am asking $980 (what I paid) or best offer.
