Default Oily Hair

Just recently I have gotten oily hair. I haven't changed my shampoo or conditioner. Do you think it could be due to the weather or maybe it is something else? Has this ever happened to you?

I am currently using Pantine Pro V I believe it is called. I will however go and switch it to something new. I might need to get a shamploo that is exclusively for oily hair.

You could be washing your hair too often or not often enough, using too much conditioner, or maybe you need to rinse your hair a little longer before stepping out of the shower. It could be several things.

Maybe it is from washing it to much. I take a shower every morning. I don't use a lot of conditioner because I thought maybe that was the issue. I will try to wash my hair every other day and see how that works.

Try using lemon, it would remove the oiliness and make your hair shine. on the other hand, you can try using a new shampoo for oily hair for immediate results

Has anyone heard of putting mayo in their hair to make it shine? My grandma was telling me this over Christmas. I have never heard of it. I would think it would make it look even more oily.

Opt for a better shampoo that says "For Oily Hair". There are a lot of shampoo products out there for sure that might help you. Try stopping your conditioner for a while and see if it's the reason?

I would try chaning shampoo/conditioner...and trying something that says for oily hair, and don't put the conditioner on your scalp, only the "ponytail" part.
