Default Exercise

What sort of exercise do you do? I used to use a rower, bike, and do some light weights, but the flat is in the middle of being done-out so for the next few weeks I'll have limited access to the spare room (its a deathtrap in there since anything that wasn't nailed down got thrown in there to give us space).

Can anyone recommend some simple, prop-free exercises I can do so that I don't turn into a sloth during the next few weeks?

Yeah. I played softball for 7 years. Ran bases, etc and my husband (boyfriend at the time) thought it was gross that my muscles were bulging out of my legs. He thought I was on some kind of steroid. But it will tone your legs.

I walk everywhere, play softball and frisbee, run around the track/on a treadmill occasionally, and do tae-bo. I try to keep it interesting!

It really helps if you have an mp3 player to keep your mind off how much running you may actually be doing.

It is also extremely helpful if you have a "running buddy" to help motivate you. Even if neither of you are "good" at it, you will run longer because you will push each other to keep going.

I used to have a home gym in the basement, but then we got the radon tested and it came back high. Now I don't go down there and don't have room upstairs for the equipment.

So I do aerobics to exercise tapes. Not the best thing in the world I know, but it does it for me. Richard Simmons and the likes.
