I was wondering if anyone here gets electrolysis and what you think about it? I was thinking about it, but I heard that it could be pretty painful.

just the thought of needles sticking in me is painful!! needless to say ive never done it im better off with shaving i guess hehe

I had a friend who had large areas treated and a grandmother who at the young age of 86 has decided she wants her facial stubblies gone. She goes regularly and tells me it just feels tingly-not in the slightest painful.

I was given a trial once after getting some tattoo removal work done (I have three tattoos, two I love, one I'm getting removed over several sessions). It felt more ticklish to me than painful. It might get unpleasant if you had to put up with the sensation for ages, but if you were just getting a few hairs on your upper lip done or something then it would be fine.

I only accepted the trial because I was curious - I can't afford the treatment even if I wanted it.
