Default Dealing With PMS

I admit it. I turn werewolf every month and eat people alive. How can I stop this? I monitor my cycle and try to check my attitude when I know my visitor is coming. But is there something I could be doing with my diet to help?

You should talk to your doctor. He/She might be able to help you.

I don't want to take drugs, hormones, stuff like that. Pill happy doctors are not a thing for me. I know that there are certain things that can make it worse-like salt increases water retention. I would rather put the effort in and figure a natural way to make life easier.

Thanks anyway.

I'm not sure about diet (other than chocolate and caffeine, which I read once were bad at that time of the month), but have you considered gentle exercise? I know that helps with period pain, I'm not sure about PMS though. I'm very lucky in that I don't tend to suffer from any cycle related problems.

Another thing I was told once was that the natural hormones in Bergen bread were supposed to be very good for women. I'm not sure how true the hormone claim is, or how natural the hormones are, though.

I take Effexor. It sails me right through my pms.

I really am not wanting to take drugs. The hormones even in the bread might be enough to mess up my milk supply since many things like that are oestrogen based or at least mimic oestrogen (like soya does). Exercise is a good thought, thank you. I exercise regularly, but not when I feel crappy which may be when I most need to.
