Default Carmex

I just heard from one of our baseball moms that it's bad for you. Another mom said the same thing. A few weeks before I heard that I was thinking about Carmex and how I felt addicted to it. It's true. It's addicting and not good for you as a doctor told her.

I switched over to Vaseline lip care. Good stuff.

Wow. I have never heard this and it sounds a bit odd to me. There are no ingredients in it othat could provoke an addiction, so anything must just be percieved.

I think that it is just a lip-balm thing...my Mum has to use her lipsalve all the time, my sister has to use her Vaseline all the time.

I've asked why, and they just say that their lips don't feel right without. I think britjojo must be right, and it's just perception.

I remain a sceptic as well because I've not heard anything other than what they said. I still use it on cold sores. They run in my family. The best stuff ever. But now that I stopped using it, I don't feel like I have to have it on all the time. I still use pip balm though. I'm going to read that article.

I wonder why doctors are saying it's so bad.

I personally use Burt's Bees and love the stuff, but I used carmex for years before I found Burt's Bees.
