Default Anti-aging advice?

I am currently 24 years old and have been an avid outdoor and indoor tanner since I was 18. As I am getting older, I am starting to worry about aging skin and was wondering what suggestions you might have to slow down the aging process? Any special products you use?

Well, I'm only 21 years old myself... but I used to work with this woman who was 30 years old and looked 14. Seriously, that is no exaggeration. She said that she never spent ridiculous amounts of money on anti-aging products. Her secret? Baby oil and baby lotions. She said that she had been using them since she had her kids... because they were the products in her house that were always in stock. Maybe she just looks young for her age, or maybe using baby products really works?! It makes sense to me though, cause you really have no idea what goes into all of the higher cost anti-aging products. At least in baby products, you know that what goes into them isn't going to harm your skin.

My mother also uses just Johnson's baby oil on her face. She's 64 but she looks 50. She also uses Dove soap on her face. I hear Nivea also is good for the skin.

Drinking plenty of water and eating the right kinds of food also helps.

I use Lancôme High Resolution with Fiberlastine. This cream is about $72 bucks, but I love it and haven’t found anything that gives results within about 4 to 5 weeks of using it.

I just use the Vit E cream that I buy from walmart its really cheap and seems to do a really great job. I would stay out of the sun and away from those tanning beds.

Default no more tanning

I agree, tanning can really age your skin. You should wear sunscreen every day, even when it is cloudy. I was the worst at that but my facialist last week told me it's really important, so I have been using this Dermalogica day moisturizer with SPF 15...so far so good.

Also treat yourself to the occasional facial or peel...they have a machine now that will show you UV damage. Talk about a wake up call.

And drink lots of water and take your vitamins!

I wonder if taking Vitamin E pills would work at all? Anyone try these? I have lotion with Vitamin E in it, though.

I've taken Vitamin E pills also, the 400 IU one , I thinks it's best to take it with Vit C. Vit A and Vit C are also a good combination.

That is something to think about! It definitely rings true for a lot of men out there, too. I know so many men that look way younger than their wives, maybe there is some kind of connection?

I'm young as well, and I already apply anti-aging cream every night. I'm currently using an oil of olay night formula.
