Try using a shampoo that is made for dandruff. Selson Blue and T-gel are two really good products to use. Also try to not keep the shampoo that you are currently using to long on your head. Sometimes it dries on your scalp and that can cause dandruff.

Head and Shoulders doesnt do anything for me. Neutrogena makes a shampoo for dandruff but I haven't tried it yet. THere are a lot of expensive shampoos for dandruff so I dont know what to use.
It is embarassing though when you get up from your pillow and see dandruff on it, yuck

try massaging your scalp with two teaspoons of lemon juice 10 minutes before shampooing them. This is surely gonna help you.

Nizoral shampoo or the one with conditioner worked for me too. You can find them in drugstores.

Neutrogena's T-Gel is effective. Head and Shoulders has a new, prescription-strength shampoo available called Intensive Treatment. I have psoriasis and occasionally develop dermatitis on my scalp. The new H&S stuff has worked like a charm in getting rid of the flakes and itch.

You may also try Nizoral. Another tip is when you are taking a shower and after rinsing your hair with shampoo, allow some time for your scalp to absorb the shampoo and be reminded to only use your fingertips and do not include your nails. Then, after rinsing it with water, allow some time again. There. I hope it works. =)

Yes, Neutrogena T-Gel is good. I've also heard that you should use shampoos without fancy additives or fragrances. That should help the dandruff.

I would try a few products at the grocery store. If they don't seem to be working, go to the doctor; they can probably prescribe you a prescription shampoo.

I've tried a couple of the products - Head & Shoulders, Neutrogena TGel, Pert Dandruff, Suave Dandruff -- but for me, Selsun Blue is the only thing that works at all.

I still have dandruff, but its not horrible when I use Selsun Blue. I also like the camphor smell it has.

I get this once in a while too. I think it's due to weather changes. I've tried almost everything sold in the market but the most effective one for me is Nizoral shampoo.

I've been having trouble with dandruff too, I need to try something new, Selsin blue really didn't work too well for me, I don't know what I'm doing wrong!

Hi dreamr802 have you tried Nizoral shampoo? This was effective for me in treating it. I also had accompanying hair loss with dandruff, this shampoo made it stop.
