The Clinique lotion isn't doing much. What do you use?

Nobody has any ideas? The cold weather is killing my facial skin. Or maybe it's my soap...

I use Christian Dior and also Banana Boat SPF 50. The BB idea seemed a bit nutty for putting daily on my face, but it works wonderfully. I also have uber dry skin and these are great moistures.

I think Burt's also makes a nice heavy moisturizer.

I think if you use a serum under your moisturizer, you may be able to lock in more moisturizer. I recently purchased a microdermabraision (sp.) kit from the drugstore to try to get rid of my dry patches a little and it actually helped my moisturizer absorb a lot better so my face was not so dry. The really grainy stuff from the microderm kit is the only thing so far that could cut thru the dry patchiness..all my other facial scrubs feel like Im just moving grains around my face while tehy do nothing. Hope this helps.

A friend of mine just told me of another really good moisterizer. Its called Cap'n Erk's Nut butter. She said its made in small amounts in Chicago. you have to order direct from the maker, no dealers. its not sold in stores. I need to get the internet link to it. I have never tried it, but I have some friends who have. My friends Bobbi and Jami have both tried it and they love it! Bobbi said she tried some at Jami's and was lying in the shade on Jami's hammock and just drifted to sleep. this stuff sounds very soothing and peaceful. My hands and face get so dry. I need to get some and try it.

Hold on a minute bea, are you sure this isn't simply another cruel joke being played on you like the one about the cheese? I have never heard of Erk's nut butter.

well it may just be my dirty mind playing tricks on me bea. Try to get her to show you some of this stuff to be sure before you go asking too many people what it's all about.

well, its too late. I already asked a bunch of people about it. and nobody knew what it was. but these neighbors of mine were out in their yard shining theire boat, and I asked them about it, and they kinda smiled funny when I asked about it.....they are from Chicago, so maybe its a Chicago joke?

I'm very basic and simple with lotion and products during winter. Laugh if you must but, I love Johnson's baby products. They started carrying a product called soothe and protect balm. It's from the soothing naturals line. I use that on my face.It helps keep my face from beccoming so chapped and dry. The best part is I can use it for both my daughter and myself. It's not a lotion though and comes in a stick form similar to a mini deoderant. It works great though is easy enough to throw in a purse or in a pocket and leave.

Default Hydra Radience

I like to use Avon's Hydra Radience. It's inexpensive and gives me a nice glow as well as moisturizes. I confess that I sell Avon products so that may make me prejudice.
