Default Muffin tops and belly pouches...how do you get rid of them?

Alright ladies, I could use some advice. Ever since I had my daughter I'm left with what I call a pouch on my lower stomach. I've also heard to this reffered to as a muffin top.My question is how do you get rid of it? What can I do to make it go away.

I'm proud of myself otherwise because I lost all the left over baby weight from my daughter and more. I'm back down to the jeans size I wore my sophmore year of highschool. I'm even losing weight other places. But, no matter what I do I can't get rid of the pouch. I'm sure some of you ladies out there can suggest something other then the crunches I've been doing. Any thoughts, suggestions and your own experiance with this issue would be ever so helpful to me.

Default No Bright Ideas

I don't have any bright ideas. Nothing worked for me. I had four kids and my pouch got a little bigger after each one. My daughter only had one child and she has that little pouch too. She has worked hard for 12 years trying to get rid of it without success. I wonder if it is nature's way of distinguishing those of us who are moms from those who aren't moms. I don't care much for the trophy, myself.

From what I understand you will always have some what of a little pouch there. But you can make it look less noticable. The only things that I have ound to work was sit ups and cruntches....Good luck.

Thank you both. I've been doing crunches.I have back problems though so it can be hard to do. I feel everything else tightening but that pouch just wont leave.I was hoping someone here had a miracle cure for me.

Does anyone here watch the biggest loser? Those ladies seem to be losing the pouch. I just wish I knew how.

I've never had kids, but an abdominal surgery left me with a pouch there. Argh.

I have the same pouch, and haven't been able to get rid of it yet even though I'm ten pounds lighter than I was prebaby. If you figure out a way to get rid of it let me know! It doesn't bother my husband, but it really bothers me!
