Question Weight Loss

Has anyone tried any diet plans or weight loss pills that have given you effective results?

I have a friend that tried the carb diet and she lost weight. However, she feels like it messed with her digestive system.

I have used Lean System 7 and have had ZERO side effects with this fat burner. I also exercise for at least 20 minutes 4 times a week on my elliptical machine.

I also try not to eat things like candies and things high in fat on a regular basis. I allow myself 1 day to splurge a week, but do not go overboard.

I also wanted to add, be consistent. Don't just diet until you lose weight, keep your routine regular.

Hope that helps!

I don't think that diet pills or fad diets work for the long term. The only way that you can take weight off and keep it off is by eating a healthy, balanced, nutritious, low calorie diet AND exercise.

I have lost 12 inches in the last 4 weeks just by eating better, drinking water, and exercising. It's the best option!

The best I've done was using weight watchers. It really trained me to eat healthier rather than just following a diet, y'know?

Oh, I've been there myself!! I find that I do best with WW when I go to the weigh-ins (though I'd skip the meetings afterwards). Something about knowing I was going to see the same person each week who would know if I gained or lost weight...I just tried harder, I guess. It makes me more accountable. I've also tried to do WW online and that is just not successful for me.

of course, I do the absolute best when I don't keep naughty food (cookies, crackers, ice cream, etc.) in the house!

Default Weight Watchers?

I have hyperthyroidism, which means I have super-fast metabolism and basically eat whatever I want. I know, I know, you hate me, but it is a disease! Anyway, my sister had a baby and went on Weight Watchers. She allows herself 1 day a week to splurge and is back down to her pre-baby figure. I don't have that kind of discipline though.

I stopped drinking soda a long time ago. I drink a lot of Iced Tea now. Don't know if that is much better. I had a couple extra pounds when I only drank soda and trouble keeping off those last pounds I wanted to lose. I don't really have that problem with iced tea.

Is it true that diet soda is actually MORE fattening than regular soda? I heard it somewhere, but was never able to verify it. Even still, I can't drink diet because EVERYTHING diet has a weird after taste to me.
