I just discovered the Purse Page, and I have a collection of a few hundred vintage bags. Dating from the 1920's all the way to the very recent, with an emphasis on the elegant smaller-sized bags of the mid-century.
One of the artists I represent, Mark Venaglia, has begun hand-painting vintage bags. Each one is a stunning one-of-a-kind work of art to carry, and they were just featured in Los Angeles Magazine. Nobody will recognize your traffic-stopping bag, and you'll have the only one.
