Default Favourite books?

What are your favourite books?

I love "I never promised you a rosegarden" by Hannah Green.
It's about a girl who is schizophrenic. It's a really interesting story, I never looked that way at crazy people before.

One of my favorites is "Women of the Silk" by Gail Tsukiyama. It is about women working in the silk factory in China. A very good book I couldn't put it down. It also has a sequel called."The Language of Threads".

actually i haven't had a chance to go through her other stuff aside from the bell jar..it's just too depressing knowing what happened to her husband and the woman who broke their marriage..it's all too heartbreaking.

I love "the God of Small Things" by Arundati Roy, for fiction. My favorite non-fiction book is Female Chauvinist Pigs: Women and the Rise of Raunch Culture.
My favorite short story is "Hills Like White Elephants" by Ernest Hemingway.
