I worked probably about 20-30 jobs at least...and I haven't hit 30 yrs in age yet. Driving a 2 hour commute each way, and wearing heels, dressing up and make up every morning was stressing enough. Corporate abuse, stess, and someone always putting you down all day left me with wanting to punch someone in the face....everyday.

but...I think I found my perfect job...I'm the office manager for a contractor/construction business for the last 4 years. I work in my sweats/jamies if I want, come n go as a please, and I abuse hot buff sweaty men all day. What more can a woman ask for?

when I'm bored, I watch em work...gawd life is good...

I was working at Disney.I started off at Animal Kingdom, but then quit because i had some health issues and decided not to return for a while. Then when i went back to Disney as a housekeeper over at the Ft.Wilderness campground,on my second day of training i reinjured my neck.
I injured my neck 3 years ago.I woke up one morning and couldn't move.My doctor at that time said it was a"temporary" problem and would get better.Yeah,right.
So i was on a leave of absence from October 14 2007 to January 14,2008.My current doctor put me on restrictions which was no lifting or pushing.I was having problems lifting my arms to pull the Murphy bed out of the wall.
Well Disney and i had a disagreement. They told me that even though i had turned in all of the papers the wanted my doctor to fill out, they would not accept my restrictions.I was told i had to work without restrictions or they were going to terminate me.
Yep,they terminated me.
So now i am unemployed and waiting to see if i can go back to school become a Physical Therapy Assistant.
Disney sucks.

I'm a web designer...cant complain about working in front of a comp. all day! I'd love to be a designer though....I worked in retail and I couldn't always help but think "I can design nicer stuff than this!"

I'm a proud stay at home mom who also works from home. I worked up intil my delievery with my daughter at a local craft store.I was a demonstrator, cashier, and merchandiser. I also worked from home for a company that did library conversions intil they switched management and decided only the people who worked inside the company could have the jobs. I was bummed.I loved that job.

Now I'm home with my daughter full time. I do side jobs and projects for people as well. I currently do work for a man I know that does mortgage loans. I do paid surveys for extra cash and other jobs when other people in the area need them. Mostly it's clerical/data entry work. I am also working on writing a children's book when I feel creative and hope to one day have it published.

One day I hope to go back to school and do something with the law. I majored in law enforcement for 4 years and wanted to be a criminal profiler or a district attorney. I couldn't afford schooling though and ended up sticking with the education I had for now to focus on my family. I'm happy with that choice.

I am a proud stay at home mom also. Even though I do alot of paid surveys and paid to read sites. I have gotten alot of supplemental income from most of the sites I am on. It may not be alot, but when you realize that you just got a check in the mail and you were needing gas for the car anyway, you are just excited.

Before my youngest was born I worked as an office manager for a private pediatric practice of one doctor. And let me tell you, i will never do that again. I had to do her quarterly taxes and I didn't know the first thing about how to do them.

That's another thing I do from home too. I average around 200.00 a month jsut doing surveys, sweepstakes and instant wins. Though this month I haven't won anything. I'm going through an instant win withdrawl.

Wow, what an interesting group of people here! I work full-time as a nurse and part-time as freelance writer. I enjoy my work, but wish I had more time for other things...one of them being SLEEP. I am so tired.

I am a stay at home mommy now, and I love it! I do have a cosmetology license, and worked in that field for 4 years before deciding to stay at home full time with my 2 year old.
