Default How do you celebrate your birthday?

How do you celebrate your birthday?
I always just invite some friends to my house, and watch a movie. Or I take them out to dinner and then the cinema.

But there must be more exciting ways to celebrate it..
So how do you celebrate it?

Usually my family get together and get a cake and ice cream. I just spend time with them.

Every year, my two best friends and I go to Saratoga and have lunch in town and go to the racetrack afterwards. We did it before we were too old to bet, and we'll probably keep doing it annually until we are too old to walk.

Default Birthdays are fun

hubbys birthday and my birthday are 9 days apart.
so its kind f easier to celebrate together.
Almost always is fun stuff. an hour ofLasar tag, two or four rounds of mini golf, bumper cars, sugar free saltwater taffy, virtual roller coaster( before cake). he ususallymakes the cake which is a strawberry cake made from scratch. and what ever we all decide for dinner or pizza and birthday person gets to choose three videos.

This year we ahve NASCAr speedpark as part of our time share and Dragons lair mini golf as well. It's gonna be a big 47!( hes 44)
our daughter usually choooses a theme park like dollywood, buffet or pizza, lasar tage. Shes not toomuch into mini golf bust she loves old fashioned roller coasters and water coasters.

Usually I don't do much for my birthday - it is my husbands birthday, our wedding anniversarry, and then my birthday all within 1 week, so we go out once for a big celebration with a bunch of friends, and just have quiet time at home for the rest of it.

My family always make it my DAY. They pamper me all the day long and it's topped off with my husband cooking me a special dinner and then opening his gift, which is usual fabulous. The man has a real talent of getting me things that I love that I would never think to buy for myself.
