Default Best Singer of All Time

Digging through my iTunes, I came up with a good question to ponder: who is the best female singer of all time? Or the most popular? They might be two different people.

I love Mads, but I also love Gloria Estefan. She's a little out of date I realise, but then I am a little old...... Of the true classics I would have to throw in Karen Carpenter. Voice like velvet, some of the most touching songs I have ever heard and died a tragic death long before her time.

I agree, Karen had a beautiful voice. My parents friends kids always asked my Dad to sing some of the carpenter songs at their weddings way back when (he had a really nice voice too). I still like to listen to the Carpenters CD.

Tool is a band and he's the lead singer of A Perfect Circle as well. They're rock. He just has that voice that you can't stop listening too. Atleast thats what I think.

My husband and I saw Tool in concert in September 2006 and it was the best show ever! I'll post some of the pics from the concert if you want. I can't wait for them to tour again!

Madonna is probably the most popular female singer, I'm not sure who the best is though. I like Belinda Carlisle a lot. Then there's Mariah Carey...

My husband was looking at Tool's website last night and they are going to be in Baltimore June 8th, 3 days after my birthday and for my birthday present the hubby is getting tickets!! I can't wait to go I am so excited!!!!

I love concerts... I've been to The Summer Sanitarium Tour 2000 w/ Metallica, System of a Down, Kid Rock, Powerman 5000 and KoRn. Then The Summer Sanitarium Tour 2003 w/ Metallica, Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit, Mudvayne and Deftones. Then I saw the Madly in Anger with the World Tour w/ Metallica and Godsmack. Then I saw Breaking Benjamin, Staind and 3 Doors Down. Then Tool and then Breaking Benjamin again and then I will be seeing Tool again

I wanted a Tool shirt but they were $40.00 each so we bought a $25 poster instead. I have 3 Metallica shirts. I didn't get them from Breaking Benjamin concerts.
