Do You Like Where You Live?
Are you living in the same town you grew up in? Do you dream of getting out of there?
Or did you make it out and now miss the place? Are you happy where you are? Do you have dreams of another place to live?

I'm not in the same town I grew up in. Only 20 minutes away though. If I could I'd move to Arizona or somewhere near the beach.

Any beach in particular? I lived near a beach in Wales for a long time, and was so in love with that town. It was a long way away from where I grew up, and I often regret leaving there. I have to just remind myself that if I hadn't, I wouldn't have had my daughter.

I've only been to 5 beaches in my life... Miami Beach, Ft. Lauderdale Beach, Ocean City, MD, and Wildwood, NJ and Paradise Island, Nassau, Bahamas which I will be back there June 18th-23rd. I can't wait!!

I live in a semi-rural/suburban town in PA. I love the development I'm in but I do wish there was a lot more diversity around these parts! During my elementary and secondary school years I grew up in a very diverse town in NJ. Filipinos were a pretty big group, as were latinos, blacks, whites, other asians, of all socioeconomic levels, too.

And here she is again, with her brother's feet in the background. This red one of hers (she picked it out at a dollar store) happens to be one of my favorites

thanks kitsch - you're right about the heart-breaking (especially her father and maternal grandfather's hearts!) and the bank account - already i can't help but dress my daughter up in cute outfits, but i do temper it with my son's outgrown clothes so she looks like a tomboy sometimes, too! and thank goodness for hand-me-downs from her older girl cousins.

i have an older sister so i also grew up with hand me downs! but the good thing about it is, i was always ahead of the pack because my sister loved clothes too..so now that we three sisters are all grown up we share clothes...so it's a real treat!!

Thanks, Barbara! I just got her a little tee from Target that says "I get my good looks from my Daddy"! For my five year old son, I got him a shirt that says "Ladies Man" and another that has "Mom" (emblazoned in a heart like a tattoo) on the front
