How do you celebrate Mothers Day?

For those of us in teh US. Mopthers day is abig holiday. brining mom flowers, cooking dinner and leaving her with teh mess afterwards, or taking her out to dinner and leaving her to get the tip.. you know family time.

What are some great gifts and ideas for next years mothers day?

This year I just sent her flowers (she loves roses) and called her. And called my sisters too, theyre all mom's.
In the past we would take her out for brunch, but she's in New England and I'm in San Diego this year so flowers and a call will have to do.

As or gifts, well everytime I ask her what she wants she says she doesn't want anything, lol. She says the same thing for Christmas and her birthday. In the past, besides dinner, we've sent her to a day of beauty, get a massage, facial, nails done, etc.

my family usually go out for dinner too but since im away from my family this year i just called my mom hopefully we can make up for it by going on vacation this year

This year was pretty quiet. I got a tznius lime georgette headscarf with lots of jingles on them. Its heavy and I need to get some matching color clips to hol it in place.Welcome to Tznius.com - Modest Clothing - Modest Jewish Clothing, Tznius
they got me a new Tshirt gown in peach wihth a sea horse on it, and made me a wonderful vegetarian dinner.

Last year they gave be a day of nothing but mini golf, over 100 holes of it! and a night of dinner out.
