Got my new tattoo
My foot is still swollen and it still hurts but it's well worth it! She had to do a blood line first which is where she puts water in the needle and outlines the tattoo. Because this tattoo isn't suppose to have lines she had to make the blood lines to help her guide. I'll take better pictures tomorrow when the swelling has gone down some. It didn't hurt as bad until she got to the upper part of my foot near the ankle.

Thanks! No I didn't design it. It's done by a artist Alex Grey. But it's off of Tool's album Lateralus...

I love tattoos. This is my 3rd one. My foot is sore though. Feels really bruised.

It's beautiful-really nice work! Supposedly it is least painful over boney bits, and most over fleshy bits which fits with what you felt. My tats were the same-my back was fine but my stomach almost made me pass out!

The one on my ankle didn't hurt too bad until the back part. Then the one on my upper back made me more mad then anything because when she was coloring it in it it was just opening the pores. It was irritating.

How could you tell that it was opening your pores? Just curious-what did that feel like?
The one on my back was a walk in the park, I sang through most of it.

You could see my pores were huge. My tattoo artist told me that most of the time on upper backs it's sensitive and it opens the pores up. The one on my foot is by far the one that hurt the most.

That is a very unique design. I have 3 tats and I can honestly say I would give anything to have them removed. You have to really put a lot of thought in selections and keep in mind that the things that interest you now, are not going to be things that interest you later in life. Quick decisions are going to haunt you. I'm not saying that I wouldn't have a tatoo, I just wish I had put more thought into selection and placement.

This is off of an album from my favorite band, EVER!!
This one is from when I came back from the Bahamas... I wanted something tropical looking. I really like the Hawaiian flower look
And this one I got because it was different and it had a star inside it and my middle name is Starr.
I think I would have chose a different design of flowers. But I don't regret getting any of them.

nice tats, Kelli! they're not really my thing, but my dh wants to get one on his arm across his bicep. i think he should get a tribal design - but are those considered "out" for guys?

Thanks. My husband has 2 on each arm. He has one of Incubus' koi fish and another one he made himself. A lot of guys I know think the whole tribal thing has 'gone out'. But if he likes it and you like it, that's all that matters.

I trust the girl we go to so I know what kind of work she does and she knows I'm picky. So she makes sure everything is done perfectly!
