Unhappy Stay safe please!

This is a reminder to all of us.I was in bed sleeping sometime early Fri morning....i thought i had everything locked up safe and sound will i had left a window unlocked. Some tryed to break in my cat room could not get in .So they got in throught the unlocked window toook some of my moms things.Got my purse and took $42.00 and my car keys.I no longer have a car .I got up at 5a.m. to let my gogs go out and no car.I called the cops they made a report.I think someone got it to use to get drugs not sure but i feel that.Anyway i feel that God was keeping me & my babies safe and out of harms way.I just wanted you all to stay safe and be very careful.I am now going to get a alarm system.

So i am asking you all to ckeck and make sure everything is locked before going to bed or anywhere.

Oh my God, thank God you and your family are ok!
Yes definetely get an alarm system, I did when I found a stranger looking through our windows and it made us feel a lot safer.
I'm suprised your dogs didn't bark with someone in the house.

Theres a great show called It Takes a Thief where 2 former thives give tips on protecting your home.
Discovery Channel :: It Takes a Thief

An Oprah did a show on keeping your home safe from burglers and has a lot of tips too
Home Security Safety Tips

Hope it helps in some way. You stay safe too hon.

Oh my goodness Barbara!!!I am glad you and your family didn't get harmed. We have two huge dogs and a medium sized one,so I know that if someone is brave enough to walk in our home and we don't know them..they will definitely be met with the dogs and one Marine.

Hey Barbara - so sorry to hear about the burglary in your home! Thank goodness you're safe. I'm glad to hear you're getting an alarm system. I hear they're really not that cost-prohibitive. Hope you can recover from this unfortunate incident. Take care and thanks for reminding us all to be safe.

Wow, I am glad that you are ok! I am so surprised in cases like this that the thieves can do it without waking the householder, it just goes to show how easy it is to do it

That's wonderful news! I think though that I would always feel funny driving it, knowing that they had nicked off with it and done who knows what in there. I guess I'd sell as soon as I could

That's terrible. I'm glad they decided enough was enough and left.

We just took a short vacation and our car was robbed while we were loading it. We went inside and someone took all my son's electriconics and our portable DVD player. They just ripped it off the seat. My son I felt the worst for. He cried and cried.

That poor woman. What's she doing to herself? She was photographed slumped over in her car recently. Cocaine was found in the car as well. I feel for her being so young and now in trouble.

If you could write her an encouraging letter what would it say?

I would tell her to hang in there and get back on track. Most people are pretty forgiving and would love to see her get her life back. I know I wouldn't hold anything against her.

I'm glad you're OK - it could have been so much worse. In a way, you're really lucky.

I really hope the police catch the guy who broke in.

I hope you get an alarm fitted soon - in a few months time, they may come back to see if you're still an easy target.
