Default etali tell us about your trip!

After the problem with you passport and then finally working it out, I'm sure that I'm not the only one that wants to hear all about your trip.

Thanks for asking It was a lat of fun, the suitcase broke though, and since it weighed almost the full weight limit allowed by the airline it was a nightmare getting it back!

We stopped off in Copenhagen on the way there, had a look around Tivoli gardens, and nipped in the Hard Rock Cafe there, which was just like every other Hard Rock Cafe - great service, lovely staff, and great food.

Malmo is pretty small, but it was nice to explore - I have a friend into architecture, and he really appreciated the photos of stuff like the Turning Torso. We only got to check out one of the three beaches, but it was nice - just a shame we didn't have time to rent a boat or anything.

I tasted Falafel - it's pretty nice, really dry, but comes with a ton of salad so I was happy My husband spent the entire time unhappy because they don't seem to do very typical meat over there, just thin cuts with tons of spices on them.

The conference went really well, both fun, and really good for making contacts. It was pretty wierd though - everyone else there could be classed as one of the greatest minds in the industry, and they talked to us like we were equals. Half the time I just wanted to babble to the guys about how brilliant they were *g*.

Theres another conference in August, and we've been inspired to get some more work done so that when we're at that one we can be really proud of what we've got to show.

Without a doubt we NEED pictures. Sounds like you had to jump one hurdle after another, but glad to know the conferance went well. Hopefully your next trip won't be so challenging.

Another wanting of photos here! Cough 'em up!

Sorry that travelling was so hard with your suitcase. It can be enough of a nightmare as it is right now with the security issues, you certainly didn't need that on top. But you made it, that's the main thing!

I'll be uploading some pictures to Flickr later - I'll be sure to post a link here once I've had the chance to do that.

I'm afraid the pics won't be very good quality - my 'good' camera broke a while ago and I haven't gotten round to buying a new one, so I'm using a very OLD camera at the moment.

Still, there were some pics that came out ok.
