Default To do list

My daughter had a chore list (like momma does). It was the cutest thing I'd ever seen so I kept it.

vaqm rugs
clen kowrs
dusthe tvs
clen burd wadr
do logro (laundry)

She just graduated grade K. I'm putting it in her love letters journal.

Aww that's so sweet!

I like the idea of keeping a letters journal, she'll be able to look back when she's older. I know that I love looking back over my old school exercise books and old creative writing.

I keep papers from each grade for my daughter too. I have also used her kid tape recorder and taped and "interview" with her. It's fun to listen to and hear how her tastes change (favorite things then compared to now and how her voice sounds). I love it.

That is just to cute! I agree frame the list, it might be fun to show her when she's older and refuses to do her chores, haha!

How adorable! She's got a great role model, too

Thanks guys!

I've kept love letter journals since they were inside me. I don't know when I'll give them their books but I'm sure the time that comes will speak to me. Maybe it'll be a wedding present. Best gift ever.

Wow Carebear the journals were a really great idea, wish I'd thought of that when my kids were younger. I have created mine photo albums and memory books to give them when they are adults, but never even thought about a journal, hats off to you.

Thanks.

I started my son's when I was 9 weeks pregnant.

I told him how much I wanted him and how honored I feet carrying him. I told him about the first time I felt him kick and about how sick he made me and how uncomfortable he made me in the last month and how much belly attention he got me. He was 10.12 lbs at birth.

Yea, he was big.

They are great journals. I just got ordinary book type journals and started writing. I even put their foot prints in the books with water soluable ink. It's so cute. I did it until their feet no longer fit.
