Default Time management

I have three kids so I have to manage my time but I don't over schedule. I pick two days during the week I will take the kids out for some fun then the rest of the week days are spent at home doing stuff that needs to be taken care of. Then the weekend is pretty much layed back and family time.

How do you manage your time?

I am a major scheduler. I usually have my entire week planned out by Monday and then my weekends in place by Wednesday. I like it this way because it gives me things to look forward to. Right now I try to enjoy the fact that I am able to do this because it is only my time I have to worry about and I'm not accountable to anyone else. I know this will change once I get married and have kids, so I'm grateful that I have this time in my life to devote entirely to myself.

It's not really that hard because most of my plans involve other people. I know I'll stick to the plans if I would be letting someone else down by not going.

I'm not good at all with managing my time but I'm starting to get better, my boyfriend is helping me with that. Between work and everything else that I have to do, I have sooo much I gotta do.

I'm a great time scheduler. I plan my entire week every Sunday. And I always follow my schedule! For example, if my friend calls up and asks if I want to watch a movie with them. If it's within the week, I'll have to turn them down.

for the most part, I'm not terribly busy. I have no social life and my days are spent at home with my son. The weekends are pretty spontaneous as we'll decide at the last minute if we want to get out of the house for the day or not.

So, I guess with the few things that I do need to get done outside of the house, I manage pretty well by trying to schedule all of my errands into one day a week. Then on that day, we get up and out early so we have the rest of the day without anything scheduled.

I have one child. I usually try to set a side some time to play with her everyday. Since, I work from home, I would usually start my day with cooking and cleaning the house before I start working, then when my daughter wakes up, i make sure I feed her first then resume with work. I also make it a point to cook before my husband gets home.

I can't imagine having my whole week scheduled without have alot of flexibility. My life requires flexibility. But, I have a job that allows it and have gotten used to it.
