Wow. I just heard a hospital isn't hiring smokers and you have to submit to a test for tobacco and drugs. In some other places I heard you can't smoke within 150 feet of the entrance of a building. It used to be 50 feet. Here in Reno it still is.
I quit in 91 but if I were still a smoker I'd be mad. But over all I feel it's good for nonsmokers and children. You can no longer smoke in theme parks except in designated areas. I hated to go to Disneyland and endure smoke. It sucked.
I don't think nonsmokers should have to subjected to smokers' second-hand smoke. That said, I have read many articles stating the health risk from second-hand smoke have been largely exaggerated. I smoke 1-3 cigarettes a day. And I have no problem with the smoking bans. It's my choice, not everyone elses.
