Default would you rather?

Would you rather deal with hurricanes, earthquakes or tornadoes? I think I would rather deal with hurricanes because you have warning about when they are going to hit and that will give you a chance to leave and get somewhere safe. Tornadoes scare me.

Tornados.......Earthquakes you usually don't have any warning. In any tornado state, they usually have sirens that you get use to.

I remember Hurricane Isabell, it was such a mess, we didn't have power for days. But, I would also say a hurricane because I feel like you can prepare for it, at least a little bit.

I don't know anything about hurricanes because it never happens in our place. It probably never will.

So, I would say tornadoes. It's still scary but not as scary as earthquakes! I was in a building once, and there was an earthquake. Goodness, I was scared to death!

Well, hello fellow Marylander. I am in Montgomery County, MD..Germantown..Yes I remember that hurricane. I was living in an apartment in NOrthern Va, all by myself when it hit. I remember the wind being so loud all night that I couldn't sleep. I had to get up and go to work the next day, (all the electricity was out all over the place, but naturally, not where I worked. LOL) I was exhausted the whole day. It was a mess.

tornadoes - while they're pretty unpredictable, they're usually less damaging than a hurricane or a (major) earthquake. I've lived in tornado alley all my life and have only seen a handful and never been hit.
