We were total slugs. Stayed at home, had a nice dinner, watched a video, barely managed to see the new year in before crashing.

I love cooking, so I helped cook for our family's New Year's Eve dinner. We tried to go low fat, low carbs this New Year's Eve and I think we kind of sort of succeeded. I mean, for a New Year's Eve dinner.

Yeah, but New Year's for me won't be New Year's without really kickass fireworks. I could do away with the fattening food, though

We didn't do much of anything this year. The kids had some friends over and we just had finger foods. We all saw midnight and went to bed. I haven't done anything for New Years in some time. It just seems safer to stay home.

Spent the day with my family, did some baking, ate, relaxed. I'm as much into low key as high energy. I think I prefer it now that I'm old, actually. Haha!

My husband's sister and her husband and kids came over. It was very boring. All we did was sit around and my sister in law was in a bad mood which kind of rubbed off on everyone. It was awful.
