Default Laundry Day!

This is going to sound so weird, but I am actually looking forward to going home tonight and doing my laundry. I usually let it get to the point where I absolutely have to do it because I've run out of clean underwear, but I'm making an exception this week. I recently used a sample of the new Pure Essentials line of Tide and Bounce and have been obsessed with the way my clothes and linens smell. It's so weird, but I actually look forward to pulling on a fresh t-shirt because it means I get to smell the lovely white-lilac scent. I was in Target and saw that the Pure Essentials was the same price as the regular Tide and Bounce, so I went ahead and bought it. Now I can't wait for clean clothes and fresh smelling linens tonight! Haha, I guess sometimes it really is the simple things!

Does anyone have any tips for getting and keeping that lovely, fresh, clean laundry scent?

i would suggest trying to find some sachets in the same
scent, maybe at one of the specialty stores, and put
one in each drawer.
I love vanilla myself, but really want to try the white Lilac.

Haha! I'm not even close to being a housewife, but I am very domestic. I've always loved the smell of clean laundry, though.

I also love the smell of vanilla. I have several vanilla candles and body lotion. I'm not sure I would like it on my clothes though. The white lilac scent is just so clean and crisp. I wish I could just bottle the scent of the laundry right as it comes out of the dryer!

I can see how doing laundry is relaxing. I usually find things that are easy, repetitive, and don't require me to think are relaxing. Sometimes I like filling out applications or forms because I know I'll know all the answers...it's pretty hard not to know your name and address.

I hate washing jeans too! I feel like the color fades just the tiniest bit each time (although, turning them inside out helps to prevent this). What I really hate about washing jeans is that they get tight again and you have to "break them in" again. I hate that!

Thats he best part of washing your jeans, letting them re conform to your body. I love when I put my jenas on and they are tight like they were when I first bought them.

I think I did about a million and one loads of laundry yesterday. I was way over due! It was kind of a chilly overcast day here yesterday, so when it came out of the dryer I just wanted to throw it all on my bed and snuggle up in the white lilac scent. I love the way the pure essentials Tide makes everything smell. I never did get around to folding all of that laundry though....that is always the worst part!

I hate those laundry days where you let your cloths pile up and then you end up having aloads of laundry for days those aren't fun.
