Flower Photography

Ask anyone who knows me, I am a total flower lover! I ALWAYS have fresh flowers in my apartment and I love giving and receiving flower arrangements. For some reason, they just really brighten my day. Anyhow, I came across a contest by 1-800-FLOWERS called Fields of the World that showcases the photography of 10 finalists who have taken pictures of gorgeous flowers all over the world. So, I took my time looking at the pictures, finally decided on a favorite (the Keuhkenhof Gardens), and voted and to my surprise I got a coupon for 15% off my next order. All for looking at stunning pictures of something I love...it totally made my day, which has been plagued by a case of the Mondays. Call me crazy but I used to get my boy toy flowers and for some reason he would hate when I got him flowers. He say they die too quick. Maybe he doesn't have a green thumb but hell.

It must be a guy thing, because I don't know one woman that wouldn't like to get flowers from her bf! I wish my old bf would have sent them more often. I would always drop hints whenever we would pass by my favorite florist, but he never got them. He would send me flowers once a year on our anniversary.
