I haven't started doing anything yet. I usually don't start until just after Thanksgiving. That is when we put up all the decorations and start listening to Christmas music

I must be kind of weird, because I LOVE going to the mall around Christmas time. I love the crowds and the hustle and bustle. I don't even mind the trouble you have to go to just to find a parking spot!

Man I'm working on buying a big gift for everyone in the house. The main gift that I'm buying is a new car. So I'm working my butt off right now.

I can't wait for Christmas, I'm so excited really I am. I have so many neices and nephews. I love to watch them open gifts and get excited. I think christmas is the only day that Iwill not have to say anything because they are going to all be so into their gifts.

I'm trying to save right now too. It is going to be really hard this year because I just had to pay for a major car repair. I always struggle with what to get people like my grandmother and I feel like I usually end up getting her something that she doesn't even want/need and just tosses aside. I'm thinking that I might send her some really nice flowers this year because I at least know that she'll enjoy them for awhile, rather than just toss aside. My co-worker gave me a promo code (all2u) for 1-800-Flowers that could help me save some money on that gift. I think she will like the flowers. Would your grandmother's like getting this? I feel like it really is the thought that counts.

That is not silly at all. My mom is re-doing her house because her husband's ex-wife is coming for Thanksgiving (long story). I am getting so excited for the holidays! I can't believe Thanksgiving is only a week and a day away and then it will be holiday season!!

Save money to get a few things for the important people. I don't know I don't really like Christmas anymore. Everyone turns it in to
crap.

Shopping overdose? No such thing! JK, I know what you mean. I have a few vacation days that I have to use by the end of the year, so I am taking a few days off to go Christmas shopping with my mom. She usually relies on me to help pick things out for my sisters.

Men can be so difficult to buy for! I don't have a bf to buy for this year, which actually could be a good thing- less stress! Does you hubby like beer and BBQ? I saw these great chef gift baskets on 1-800-Flowers and there is a BBQ set. I think I might get it for my mom's husband. He sounds the same way as your guy- very picky and has everything he needs/wants. I guess with people like this it is best to think outside of the box sometimes.
