Do you eat at your desk at work?

Is it bad manners to do this?
Sometimes I'm so busy I have no choice but to have lunch at my desk. But a few times I have spilled my drink on work papers lol

that's inderstandable, i sometimes want to eat in front of my computer also to get the work done immediately

It depends if the company allows eating lunch or anything on their desks. Before, when I was working, the company was pretty lax about it so we can eat anytime. We're practicing 5S though.

i try to take mylunch in the lunch room, but once in a while i take it at my desk if there is work overload..or i just don't feel like walking till the room. my firm is pretty okay about it

I work at home, so I'm not really sure if this counts. I eat at my desk all of the time. I have a habit of being messy and really should stop.

I do, especially when there's a lot to work on. I don't think it's necessarily bad manners unless you happen to just naturally have weird table manners! I used to work with a woman who would just slobber all over the place while eating - food all over her mouth, her computer, her hands. Breakfast, snacks, lunch. It was revolting.

Yes, sometimes... because I'm just too lazy to walk to the cafeteria or canteen.

I don't beause we are not allowed to so. You know, one of the company rules. But if we can, I would totally do.

Sometimes I would sneak in some chips and fries. Haha. They never notice.

if i get really hungry but have to finish up some work then i'll definitely eat but i'll be careful not to get caught
