Question Puppy Mills???

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone can help me out. For my English class I have to write a research paper and I'm writing it on puppy mills and why they should be banned.
While reviewing our thesis and sources my teacher started drilling me asking what side I was on, obviously against, and she asked why. Obviously I explained the unhealthy conditions and harm they end up in. She said that was good but I had to take care of the So What? I had to find away to reach the people who aren't dog or animal lovers to care, and want to join me in the fight. So I started doing more research and I basically find the same stuff on every site.
Can anyone help me out in finding ways to help that side of the argument? To get those people to join?
I've got that they may buy or someone they know could buy a puppy that is unhealthy and could possibly deal with the loss of their new pup. Thats it.
Can anyone please help?? I'd appreciate it.

Smile Puppy Mills

I have a rescue lab that I was lucky enough to get from a great organization "Labs4Rescue.com"-look them up and they will give you a sad description of puppy mills and how they treat the poor animals. They are an incredible organization who sends members, mostly in the south, to high kill shelters to rescue primarily labbies (mixed labbies as well as pure breds). You will find more information, albeit very sad, that you will need. Puppy mill pups are found even in the most high end pet stores and bought by unsuspecting people who end up many times with a dog who is in very bad shape. Look them up! My Emily is a star and rescued in the nick of time by these wonderful folks.
