Default Impulsive Buying

Are you an impulsive buyer? What did you feel or think when you saw that product and made you buy that instantly?

I am an impulsive buyer!

I buy loads of stuff I don't really need. I buy most of the things online because I don't have time to shop at malls. I have access to a computer all day so I frequently check out deals at Ebay and Amazon. I'm like you kitsch_k, I regret almost all my purchases when the bills arrive.

i think every one of us experienced this at one time or another, the important thing is that we don't become impulsive buyers everytime we go to the mall

I used to be an impulse buyer, but since having children I've really had to learn how to control myself. Sometimes I will treat myself to something that I enjoy though; like a new pair of earrings, or bubble bath.

yeah..a lot of my friends also became responsible when they had responsibilities like this already... it's a good way of disciplining yourself.

I used to be really bad but I've learned to control it.

Now, I keep an eye on my checkbook register and if I see those numbers going down drastically, I slow down.

i agree. its easier to keep track of your purchases iwth a checkbook, not an atm.
