Help us test drive our new classifieds marketplace

H, Everyone!

I just installed some classifieds software to let people buy and sell their bags, and any other items they want to sell.

Its also the "Classifieds" link right under our logo.

I've just started working with it so I'm sure there will be errors and things we need to fix.

Its free to list items. But you have to be registered with our forum here: http://www.pursepage.com/forum/register.php
If youre registered in the forum then you can use both the forum and the classifieds.

Check it out, click around and see if you like it.
Also many people have friends who sell online in auctions or on Craigslist, maybe they can also list their items here as well and see how it works out?

And please keep a note and post here of things you like about it, things you dont like, so I can see if my programmer can do anything with it.

I know zero about auctions and classifieds, so your suggestions will help tremendously in making it great.

That would be great to build up a big area of people buying and selling their items and listing them all for free. Omg that would be fun!
I want to message everyone on eBay to tell them they can list here for free, it but dont know if eBay would get mad at me, lol.

It's looking great so far. I'm sure everyone will find this useful. I do have a suggestion. I think it's a good idea to keep track of sellers or customers who don't hold up there end of the deal and if it happens more then like 3 times they are banned from selling or buying depending what the case is.That way there is a guideline and people will know who to be careful with. Just a thought.

Well we tried it for a few months but the software was so buggy and the support was slow and there were lots of complaints, so im dumping it. sorry.

It seems people preferred listing their items on the forum, so Im going to bring it back here: http://www.pursepage.com/forum/buy-s...your-handbags/

But I have it set so that it only allows people to post an item for sale if they have at least 25 posts in the message board.
I hope this kind of weens out any people who aren't for real.
