Oh, I had so many favorites as a kid. Amelia Bedelia was one of the top ones though. I'm in the process of trying to get every one of them for my daughter. If you give a mouse a cookie, any Dr. Suess book, and I had a bunch of carebears and little mermaid books that I adored too.

As I got older and was a teen I really enjoyed a book called "The wind blows backward".

I also was in a commercial as a child for a book I read. Anyone remember having to do book it in elementry school? I read The talking Eggs. So, thats the book I had to do a commercial for.

Oh my, I had to reach way back for this one, but I loved reading, "Are You There, God? It's Me, Margaret". I was at the age where I could identify, I guess.

Probably my favorite book from childhood was Number the Stars. I was really into reading, though, so it's hard to pick just one. During summer vacation, if my best friend wasn't home, I would seriously sit and read all day. I would go to the library and check out 10 books at a time, 2-3 times a week! I read Babysitters Club, Sweet Valley, Saddle Club, Boxcar Children, Nancy Drew, etc.

I liked the Secret Garden and The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. Also Little Women.

Now remember this is when I was growing up, so also Judy Blume's "Are you there God, it's me Margaret".
